As an Affiliate Marketer and a blogger I’ve made tons of mistakes, and they taught me tons of lessons. And when you learned a lesson, it’s not a failure, right? So today I’ll share some of the ways that helped me grow my blog and a couple of my niche sites.

Now let’s get started on those tips.
-
Find your voice
I know that it’s easier said than done. And it totally comes with time. In the very beginning you may not even know the direction you want to go with your blog and it’s ok. Most likely it will change in a while anyways. But try thinking about your writing from a different perspective. The key is for your readers to be able to relate to you and your posts.
-
Take your visuals to the next level
Looks are not everything, but they’re definitely important. You could either hire someone to create a customized design for you or purchase a theme or a template. While the first option is always better, if you’re just starting out, the best way will be to purchase a template, because it’s cheaper and you’ll have more opportunities to experiment without breaking the bank.

If you want to stand out online, it’s definitely something you got to do.
-
Be consistent
Use the same profile picture for all your social media channels. Update your social media profiles so there are no incorrect or outdated facts. Consistency is one of the main factors of being successful in the online marketing world. And that’s what’s gonna help you find your voice and your style.
-
Schedule your blog posts and social media posts
Scheduling your content in advance is what’s gonna help you with consistency because sometimes life just happens and not everything goes as planned. Luckily there are tons of free and paid programs to help you do this.

Engage with your audience. And respond to all comments
You’re trying to build a community here, right? Otherwise, why would you be blogging? Acknowledge your readers. Communicate with them, be genuine. Answer their questions in the comment sections. And they will come back.
-
Get your butt on Instagram Stories and Instagram Direct
Are you on Instagram Stories? I hope you are, because it’s a wonderful way to share your latest blog post, behind the scenes or promote your next launch. A lot of marketers are screaming “it’s all in DMs”. And they are totally right. Are you promoting new program, course or an e-book? Encourage your audience to DM you if they’re not sure the product is the right fit for them. Don’t waste the opportunity to get the personal feedback.
-
Comment on other blogs
Be a good commenter, seriously. Write more than just one sentence, especially if you’re going to include a backlink. Be sincere. People may want to click on your profile to learn more about you. Just give them a chance!
8. Don’t forget about SEO
Trust me, you don’t need to be an SEO expert to be getting tons of traffic from search engines. Research your keywords. Include the main keyword in a title and meta description.
However don’t expect the results to happen overnight, because they won’t. If you’re just starting out, you may need good 4-6 months before you see that organic traffic coming to your blog. But it’s totally worth the effort. You don’t won’t to miss the potential readers, right?
So now is your turn. Share with me YOUR tips for growing your audience. I’d love to hear them.
