Creative Biz Tribe was born when I started wondering about this idea, “Wake up you need to make money.”
Huh?
Yes, you might be thinking that right now. But hear me out because it’s going to be crystal clear in just a few.
Time is of the Essence
I go to a service provider about every 6-8 weeks. And each time I see her, we have a lot to talk about.
But the funny thing is that she always comes back to this one topic,
I love what I do, but time is of the essence and since I’m here 24/7, I can’t make more money.
We have gone back-and-forth many times, brainstorming ideas for financial growth without needing to attempt squeezing in an unattainable 25 hours in the day.
But I know the answer for her and for you reading this.
The answer is to take your passion and current knowledge with the business you own and create ways for making more in that business, passively.

So when the opportunity presented itself for me to buy and take over this website, creativebiztribe.com, I was like my 5 year old self in a candy store.
Why?
Because I, too, was once in that place. I was super passionate about what I was doing, but there were only so many hours in the day. The answer wasn’t to “find a new job” or find more hours in the day.
Instead, the answer was to diversify in the things I was already doing while also creating new things to impact the lives of more people in a passive way.
And if I can do it, you can, too.

In the business you currently own (or desire to own), you know things no one else does. And people are always wanting to “pick your brain.” Am I right?
Day-after-day, you go to your business and feel less than inspired because it feels stagnant; both creatively and financially. You don’t want a new career, you just want to make more doing something you love.
I know. I know. Believe me, I know.
So let’s quick break this down.
100k a year is how much an hour
If you make about $48/hour, you’d be on track for around 100k a year.
60k a year is how much an hour
If you make about $29/hour, you’d be on track for around 60k a year.
30k a year is how much an hour
If you make about $14/hour, you’d be on track for around 30k a year.
Note: the reason I know these numbers is because at one point in my former career days, I was a recruiter. We were always told to take yearly salary and divide by 2080 to come up with an approximate hourly rate.
Now, you already own your business, so this 100k or 30k is likely not the most important thing.
What is important is that you are able to clearly see that just by making some extra per year doing something you’re already doing and loving, you can make far more.
And beyond the incremental income, it’s more than that. In the Creative Biz Tribe, the goal is to support you with finding joy in creating new and interesting things that are not only fun to create, but also super helpful for your customers.
Honestly?
Money is the least exciting thing to me about creating and growing multiple businesses.
Knowing that the impact you’ll have and the reach you’ll obtain will far outweigh the money (well, usually, anyways).
