1. Use The Power Of Motivation

Motivation is essential in this type of lifestyle.

No one feels like getting up at 5 in the morning.

And if some do, they are very few.

You need to establish a goal that will motivate you to do so.

You need to think about your life and daily schedule and identify the reasons you want to wake up so early. Once you know that, the rest will follow easier!

2. Go To Bed Early

Naturally, if you go to bed late, you will not want to wake up early. Your body needs between seven and nine hours of sleep each night in order to be ready for the next day. You should try to go to bed earlier if you want to get used to waking up at 5 in the morning.

Create a relaxing atmosphere in your bedroom so you can fall asleep easier. It is important to disconnect your mind from any distractions if you want to fall asleep and be rested the next morning.

3. Wake Up With A Clear Mind

When you do wake up in the morning, try to keep a clear mind. You shouldn’t think about anything as you are waking up. Simply enjoy the beauty of a new day and try to stay away from worries.

As soon as you hear your alarm going off, get out of your bed and turn the light on in your room. Start preparing yourself for the new day without thinking about what you have to do yet.

4. Get Rid Of Your Gadgets

The ritual before your bedtime is very important as well. You should stay away from any technology for at least one hour before you go to bed. This habit allows your brain to relax and forget about your daily worries and stress. Don’t check your phone, don’t get on your social media accounts and stay away from TV right before going to sleep. One of the worst things you can do is go to bed with the TV on because you will not be able to rest properly.

5. Put Your Thoughts On Paper

Planning is a habit that successful people don’t skip. Lay your thoughts on paper in the evening, before going to bed. This is a great habit to get rid of the stress and concerns that you have no control over. You can plan your next day or simply get some ideas on paper to use later. Not having to remember things can be a great help to your mind and ease your life significantly.

6. Clean Your House Regularly

A clean house = more organized life. Make sure to develop a cleaning ritual that will keep you on top of the housework you need to do. It will be very helpful if you find your kitchen clean the next morning.

No one is looking forward to doing dishes at 5 am.

So, leave everything in place the night before in order to have a fresh start of your day. Otherwise, you will feel overwhelmed the moment you wake up which is not a good start of your day!

7. Never Skip Breakfast

It is good not only for your health but also for your energy level. Plus, your breakfast is definitely something to look forward to in the morning. Having a delicious meal when you wake up might be one of the small motivations that keep you going. Make sure to include a healthy mix of foods in your breakfast to give you the energy you need to start your day in the best way possible!

8. Stay Consistent

Nothing will work as you plan it unless you stick to your plan. Consistency is the key that will get you in the habit of waking up early as well. You will have to push yourself in that direction at first but once you get on that track, you have to maintain it.

It is going to take you some days and even weeks until you set your inner clock to wake up at 5 am. But if you are serious about it, you’ll get there.

9. Invest In A Good Alarm Clock

The alarm on your phone has a snooze button, and let’s face it – it’s pretty easy to go back to sleep right away. That’s why I insist that you get a separate alarm and put it on your night stand.

10. Be Gentle With Yourself

You should understand and accept that you will have a few setbacks. It is difficult and challenging to implement a new habit. It becomes even more difficult if you are used to going to bed late every night. So, if you are not waking up every morning as you planned, be gentle with yourself. Do your best on that day and set the same goal for tomorrow.

11. Have The Right Mindset

Your mindset is everything. If you have the right mindset you can make everything happen. Chances are that you will feel much more confident and motivated if you keep your mind on the right track. So, make sure to set a positive mindset and keep your motivation going every day in order to get to the schedule that you feel will work best for you.
